Job summary

All Star Physical Therapy, a member of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our Hemet team. This role is 16-20 hours per week, with evening shifts until 6:30pm.

You will be the first voice and face patients see, delivering a welcoming, professional experience while handling check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and calls in a fast-paced clinic.

Must be bilingual in English/Spanish to best serve our patient population.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a medical front desk preferred but not required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required to best serve patients.
• Strong communication, organization and multitasking skills.
• Comfort with EMR, scheduling systems, and basic IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referrals.
• Manage front desk operations: check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and calls.
• Review referrals, create/update patient records, and explain next steps to patients.
• Maintain patient flow by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, cancellations, and follow-ups.
• Collect copays and payments accurately; track payments when needed.
• Protect HIPAA privacy in all front desk interactions and documentation.
