Qualifications

• Experience using registration and billing software.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to access and interpret health plan benefits.
• Experience in hospital or medical office settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care services with the case manager, patient, family, and payors.
• Assist with discharge planning and authorization processes.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations.
• Obtain resources and send referrals for patient care.
• Schedule follow-up medical appointments and document activities in required systems.
