Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is seeking a senior manager to oversee the Care Coordination and Discharge Planning team at Mt. Edgecumbe Memorial Center.

You will lead a staff of care coordinators and social workers, ensuring timely patient progression and resource access. The role requires robust nursing leadership and a deep understanding of post-acute care, Medicare/Medicaid, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Alaska or other US state required.
• Direct hires must apply for Alaska RN license prior to start date.
• Agency staff must hold an active Alaska RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide team leadership and supervision while fostering a collaborative environment.
• Manage daily assignments and schedules to balance workload.
• Mentor new staff and provide ongoing training as needed.
• Build relationships with post-acute providers for community networking.
• Ensure quality of care and monitor performance to improve service delivery.
