Job summary

MPAC Healthcare is seeking Licensed Clinicians (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) to provide on-site mental health care to residents in a private-practice-like setting without back-office management. The role emphasizes an entrepreneurial approach, 40-hour weeks, and a team-based, interdisciplinary environment.

You will conduct assessments, deliver psychotherapy for older adults, document thoroughly, and coordinate with facility staff and regional management to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and a valid LCSW/LMFT/LPC license in the applying state.
• Two years of counseling and therapy experience.
• Ability to work as a team with a great attitude.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Mental Health diagnoses and therapeutic approaches.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including other MPAC providers, to ensure patients are getting the best care possible.
• Ability to foster open communication with the facility team and Regional Clinical Manager to ensure the success of clinical programs.
• Ability to take initiative and effectively communicate in multiple settings with multiple parties (patient, patient’s family, nursing staff, facility social services team, other MPAC providers, etc).
• High level of organization to manage patient needs, document effectively and ensure the mental health needs of residents are being met.
• Comfortable with the ever-changing environment of a skilled nursing facility

Responsibilities

• Provide initial assessments and utilize psychotherapy to address mental health issues and ongoing support.
• Function as an active, lead member on an interdisciplinary team addressing residents’ emotional, social, and psychological needs.
• Be in charge of your caseload, your schedule, and salary.
• Handle documentation requirements and stay up-to-date on Medicare Benefit and commercial insurance plans.
