ComForCare in North Austin is seeking compassionate home care aides to support clients in their own homes, enabling independence and comfort. You will help with daily living, personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship, in a client-centered setting that values ongoing training.

This PRN role offers flexible shifts, opportunities for advancement, and hands-on orientation with dementia care training and support from a caring team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years or older.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• 1 year of caregiver experience preferred in home care or senior communities.
• Experience with gait belts and mobility aids is preferred.
• Clean background check required.
• Access to a reliable phone with service (no Wi‑Fi only phones).

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent in their own homes.
• Provide personal care and mobility assistance.
• Assist with transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning and preparation.
• Manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite for families.
• Work in North Austin and surrounding areas.
• PRN position with part-time or full-time shifts based on client needs.

Compensation:

• Pay Range: 16-22 $/hour, pay depends on experience and client complexity
• Automatic travel reimbursement between clients
• Plus, rate differentials and incentives for weekends, short shifts, complex clients, longer distances (case dependent)

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes
• Provide assistance with personal care

• Properly manage household needs
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• You will be working in North Austin and Surrounding areas.
• This is a PRN position, can be part-time and full-time based on the shifts.

What we’re looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible
• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Previous 1 year experience as a professional at home caregiver or in senior communities
• Has experience with gait belt and mobility aids
• Clean Background
• Access to a reliable phone and phone service (Wi-Fi only phones are not acceptable)
