Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Vocational school.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer credential required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate analysis of cardiac anatomy and data for interpretation.
• Assists physicians during procedures and monitors parameters.
• Maintains lab areas, renews supplies and ensures safety.
• Keeps equipment functioning and reports issues promptly.
• Submits activity reports and participates in continuing education.
• Delivers patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary And Qualifications

1. Performs accurate analysis of all cardiac anatomy and assimilates appropriate data necessary for interpretation of the study.
2. Assists the physician as needed during procedures and monitors physiological parameters during procedures.
3. Performs job to ensure quality care is provided within defined area of accountability.
4. Restocks work areas with necessary supplies. Keeps work areas clean and orderly to promote patient safety.
5. Maintains lab equipment to ensure optimal functioning by inspecting for breakdown, troubleshooting and communicating with appropriate repair persons.
6. Submits activity reports as requested.
7. Participates actively in continuing education and assists in education of new staff as requested.
8. Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
9. Various other duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Vocational school

• Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
