Job summary
Sanford Health – Marshfield Clinic is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The NP/PA will work with surgeons and the care team across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Eligible candidates must have an NP or PA degree with board certification and state licensure, plus relevant surgical subspecialty experience.
Qualifications
- Master's, postmaster's, or doctorate in NP
- Experience in cardiovascular/thoracic surgery or critical care
- RN and NP state licensure
- DEA permit to prescribe controlled substances
- State CDS license (if required)
- National board certification as AGACNP-BC or ACNPC-AG; Additional FNP/AGNP certifications
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care for adults undergoing cardiovascular and thoracic procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and care team across preop, intraop, and postop phases.
- Manage care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
