UF Health in Leesburg, FL seeks a Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) to monitor diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures and serve as a scrub assistant to ensure patient safety. The candidate will participate under the direction of the director/charge person and must complete RCIS or RCES certification within 12 months of hire.

Education includes an Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.

Overview: The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. Qualifications:

Education:

- Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.

- In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years's experience AND Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

OR

Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
• OR - FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) -
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields)
• BLS
• ACLS
