HCA Florida South Shore Hospital in Sun City Center, FL is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our cardiovascular team. You’ll work with physicians using state‑of‑the‑art cath lab technology to deliver lifesaving procedures with precision and compassion.

The role emphasizes patient care before, during, and after procedures, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and ongoing education and safety.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Parademic, RN, ARRTr/RRT, NBRC-RRT, or RCIS licensure eligibility required.
• 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures (angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements).
• Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced cath lab equipment for safe treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion.
• Maintain sterile environment and advocate for patient safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic, or (RN) Registered Nurse, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner, or (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
• 2 years experience preferred
