Job summary

HCA Florida Highlands Hospital in Sebring, FL is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to partner with physicians delivering advanced cardiac care using state-of-the-art cath lab technology. You will guide patients and families, ensure precision in procedures, and contribute to outcomes that save lives with a compassionate team.

You will operate and maintain equipment, monitor responses, and uphold sterile standards in a fast-paced environment dedicated to high-quality patient care and family

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
• Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate, or Certificate
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experience

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

HCA Florida Highlands Hospital is a 126-bed acute hospital. We offer a full range of Emergency, Surgical and Inpatient and Outpatient services. We have served Sebring, Florida, and the surrounding counties since 1965. We offer advanced technology, attracting the most qualified physicians and surgeons in the area. Our Emergency Room is the area’s only dedicated Senior ER. This features designated parking and hearing amplifiers.
