Job summary

HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in Miami is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our PRN team. You will assist physicians with angiograms, stent placements, and vascular procedures, while preparing patients and families with care, education and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.

You'll operate and maintain advanced cath lab equipment, monitor patient responses, and uphold a sterile environment as an advocate for every patient.

Qualifications

• Basic Arrhythmia Recognition within 30 days of start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• Vocational School Graduate credential.
• ARRT-R Radiography or CCT Cardiographic Technician or RCIS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient.
