Job summary

HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our cardiac care team in beautiful Sarasota, FL. You will support physicians during lifesaving procedures, operate advanced cath lab equipment, and help guide patients through their care journey with compassion and precision.

The ideal candidate has ACLS, BCLS, and RCIS within the stated timelines, plus a High School diploma.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include
