Responsibilities

The CVT in the Cath Lab, under the direction of the director/charge person, monitors procedures including diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. This is a PRN Day Shift position.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy; or in lieu of education, a minimum of five (5) years’ experience with RCIS or RCES certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred; if ARRT is not held, eligible for one of the following licenses/certifications: Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license OR Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist license OR RCIS OR RCES; if no degree in the applicable fields, eligibility within 12 months of hire.
• Other: BLS required; ACLS required.
