Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Cath Lab CVT to monitor diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization procedures, ensuring safe patient care and acting as a scrub assistant.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology (or related fields), plus RCIS/RCES certification within 12 months of hire, and BLS/ACLS certification. Licensure preferences include FL ARRT/ARRT credentials.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
• 5+ years of experience and RCIS or RCES certification within 12 months of hire.
• FL Licensed Radiologic Technologist or FL Licensed Respiratory Therapist with ARRT certification preferred; RCIS/RCES required within 12 months if no degree in applicable fields.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization procedures.
• Ensure safe patient care in the Cath Lab.
• Serve as a scrub assistant during procedures.

Education: - Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy - In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years� experience and: - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) OR - Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) Licensure/Certification/Registration: - FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) OR - FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields) - BLS - ACLS Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
