Job description

Overview

The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant.

Qualifications

Education

• Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy
• In lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years� experience

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
• FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification
• Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields)
• BLS
• ACLS
