Job summary

UF Health Gainesville is seeking a Cath Lab CVT to support interventional cardiology procedures in a fast-paced academic medical center. The CVT will prepare patients, operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, scrub and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, and ensure documentation and radiation safety.

This role collaborates with nurses, technologists, and cardiologists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• CVT certification and BLS/ACLS required.
• Experience in catheterization lab settings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Scrub and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Ensure accurate documentation and radiation safety.
