Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Surgical PCU in Pensacola, FL. This full-time night shift role requires a Florida RN license and BLS. You will provide high-quality nursing care, coordinate care plans, and support patient discharge planning.

Minimum 1 year acute care bedside experience, with PCU experience preferred. Excellent teamwork and communication are essential for seamless patient care in this fast-paced unit.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required prior to hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Diploma in nursing or higher.
• Minimum 1 year acute care bedside experience; PCU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care following clinical standards.
• Manage patient care plans, monitor progress and adjust care as needed.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams as central point of contact.
• Execute medical orders accurately and maintain a safe environment.
• Plan for discharge and transitions to home with the care team.
