Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift in the Stepdown Intermediate Care PCU. You will deliver compassionate nursing care, follow established clinical standards, and coordinate patient care with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and comfort.

You will monitor health progress, adapt interventions, and execute physician orders with precision to maintain a safe healing environment and plan for discharge with the team.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Florida RN license must be active before hire date.
• Diploma or higher from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care following clinical standards and protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans for optimal recovery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams as central point of contact for patients.
• Execute physician and nursing orders with precision and safety.
• Plan discharge needs with the team to ensure smooth home transitions.
