Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory PACU on day shift. The role involves maintaining aseptic technique, evaluating patient responses, managing pain, and anticipating perioperative needs.

Required Florida RN licensure, 1 year of RN experience, and availability for a day shift. Prior PACU or critical care experience is preferred; benefits and career growth opportunities are offered by Ascension.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credential from Florida Board of Nursing required prior to hire.
• Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire date (AHA/ARC accepted).
• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date. (AHA/ARC accepted).
• Diploma from accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure at time of hire.
• Prior experience in critical care or PACU preferred.

Responsabilités

• Follow aseptic sterile technique according to AORN/ASPAN standards.
• Evaluate patient responses to treatments and interventions.
• Manage patient pain.
• Anticipate case-specific needs based on procedures and pathophysiology.
