Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a nursing assistant, a patient care tech, or someone interested in becoming a nursing assistant and providing patient care. Candidates without certification or applicable experience will receive 6 weeks of full-time on-the-job training. After training, the schedule will be part-time, day shift with self-scheduling flexibility. Join us to improve hospital throughput, capacity, and patient experience. The Work

• Provides patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks.
• Assists with activities of daily living such as bathing, hygiene, toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning.
• Proactively anticipates and addresses family needs.
• Customizes care based on patient needs.
• Collaborates with healthcare team members to enhance patient care.

Success in this role requires strong communication and time management skills. We seek team-oriented Nursing Assistants eager to expand their skills and attentive to detail. We welcome entry-level and experienced CNAs, nursing assistants, and patient care techs. If you're interested in patient care but lack experience, the 6-week training will prepare you to perform confidently in your role.
