Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a nursing assistant, a patient care tech, or someone interested in becoming a nursing assistant and providing patient care. Candidates who are not certified or lack applicable experience will receive 6 weeks of full-time on-the-job training. After training, your schedule will be part-time, day shift, with flexible self-scheduling. You will have the opportunity to help improve hospital throughput and capacity while enhancing the patient experience. Our nursing assistants make a daily impact on patients' hospital stays by providing individualized care in a positive and supportive environment. The Work:

• Provides patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks.
• Assists with activities of daily living such as bathing, hygiene, toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning.
• Anticipates and addresses the needs of patients' families proactively.
• Customizes and modifies care according to patient needs.
• Collaborates with healthcare team members to enhance patient care.

Success in this role requires strong communication and time management skills. We seek team-oriented Nursing Assistants who are eager to expand their skills and possess a strong attention to detail. We welcome entry-level and experienced CNAs, nursing assistants, and patient care techs. If you're interested in providing patient care but lack experience or have worked in home health, the 6-week training will equip you with the skills and confidence to excel in your role.
