Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior Specialty Representative: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience/clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of sales experience within pharma/biotech/medical device industry and knowledge of multiple therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Deliver on marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.
• Develop territory plans and manage accounts, including discussions tailored to customer needs and ensuring product access.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and analyze territory performance.
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen’s products and maintain it throughout the sales cycle.
• Uphold Amgen values and ethical standards in all activities.
