Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in Cardiovascular Services, with at least half in leadership.
• Must have structural heart experience and strong leadership.
• Current California license as a Registered Nurse or ARRT certification and CA certification.
• Masters degree preferred (MSN, MBA, or MHA).

Responsibilities

• Lead Cardiovascular Services operations, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Cardiovascular Medical Director and facility admin to ensure high-level patient care and regulatory adherence.
• Oversee strategic and tactical plans, budgeting, and capital/operational management.
• Maintain STEMI designation and Chest Pain Center accreditation.

Job description

Community hospital part of a system looking to bring on Cardiovascular Services Director! Bonus Incentive Program and Relocation!

Level II Trauma Center known for providing excellent care with compassion and kindness. Features a 24-hour emergency department, comprehensive stroke center, ICU/CCU, maternity, Level III NICU, comprehensive cancer center, heart & cardiovascular center, same day surgery, and rehab center. Manager of Cardiac Cath Lab reports to this position; Director reports to VP Operations.

• Responsible for leadership, successful operations, and quality of Cardiovascular Services
• Work in conjunction with the facility administrative staff and the Cardiovascular Services Medical Director to ensure the highest level of care for patients, and ensure that all services provided meet all regulatory requirements and guidelines
• Work with physicians to adopt and incorporate quality initiatives and research and develop strategic and tactical plans to maximize the effectiveness of Cardiovascular services at the facility, including capital and operational budget planning and management
• Maintain STEMI designation and Society of Chest Pain Centers Chest Pain Center accreditation

Qualifications:

• Degree required, Masters preferred (MSN, MBA, or MHA)
• Current California State Registered Nurse license or Radiologic Technologist registered through the ARRT and certified by the State of California required
• Minimum of 5 (prefer 10) years in Cardiovascular Services, with at least half of those years in Cardiovascular leadership (prefer in a program with full Cardiovascular)
• MUST HAVE STRUCTURAL HEART EXP AND STRONG LEADERSHIP
