Job summary

Keck Hospital of USC in California seeks a Proficient RN Supervisor to assist the Clinical Director and Business Director in coordinating clinical and operational activities. You will supervise Pre-op and PACU staff, handle disciplinary actions, and support staff scheduling and overall patient care operations.

The role requires a BSN (Masters preferred), 3 years in perioperative operations, and active RN licensure with BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• RN license (CA Board of Registered Nursing)
• BSN required; Master's preferred
• 3 years in pre/post-operative or related depts
• Ability to work with physicians, staff and patients

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical resource management within and across departments
• Supervise Pre-op and PACU staff and Clinical Coordinators
• Create staff schedules and manage disciplinary actions
• Assist surgeons with equipment, supplies and staff requirements
• Maintain licenses, certifications, and health assessments up to date
• Support onboarding and continuing education of staff
• Monitor space/resource utilization and KRONOS timekeeping
