Job summary

Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, Arizona, is seeking a Cardiovascular Outpatient RN to prepare and recover patients for outpatient procedures. The CVOPS RN provides recovery for anesthesia patients if anesthesia was required for the outpatient procedure.

This role requires at least 1 year of Preop PACU, Cath Lab, or Procedural RN experience, an RN license, and BLS certification. Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts with call rotation; must live within 30 minutes of the facility.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in Preop PACU, Cath Lab or Procedural RN required.
• RN license and BLS certification must be uploaded with application.
• Desire to be part of a team making a difference in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social, spiritual and educational aspects.
• Formulate and adjust care plans with input from patient/family and health team.
• Implement care plans, supervise nurses and ensure adherence to policies and safety standards.
• Document care, communicate status to caregivers, and ensure continuity of care.
