Job summary

IntermountainHealth is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular OR RN to join our surgical services team in Grand Junction. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses to provide safe, high-quality care for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures in the operating room.

The role requires a BSN and Colorado RN license (or compact) with BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate. 1+ year of cardiothoracic OR experience preferred, with regular 10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license with ability to obtain Colorado RN license.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate).
• At least one (1) year of Cardiothoracic nursing experience in a comparable acute care/surgical services setting.

Responsibilities

• Care forCVOR patients in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Assess a patient7s medical status on admission and contribute to individualized treatment plans.
• Document care and ensure adherence to evaluation and documentation guidelines.
