Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program is required.
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license with ability to obtain Colorado RN license.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• At least 1 year of Cardiothoracic nursing experience in a similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess a patient’s medical status upon admission.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with the care team.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses and other health professionals.
• Document care, monitor patient response and ensure safety.
