Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in New Jersey seeks a Director, Medical Evidence Generation Lead for Cardiovascular to shape strategy across clinical trials, RWE, and ISRs, coordinating with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and cross-functional partners.

You will lead study design, governance, and dissemination activities, ensuring GCP/ICH compliance, timely delivery, and strong external collaborations with KOLs and investigators.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree required with extensive clinical development experience.
• 5+ years in pharma clinical development, Medical Affairs, or relevant Commercial experience.
• Required experience in CVRM (Cardiorenal metabolic) TA.
• Strong leadership and ability to influence in matrixed environments.
• Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the integrated evidence generation strategy aligned with Medical Affairs and overall product strategy, spanning clinical trials, real-world evidence, non-interventional studies, registries, observational research, and health outcomes studies.
• Provide hands-on scientific leadership in study design for Phase II/IV trials and post-marketing commitment studies.
• Lead or significantly contribute to protocol development, study objectives and endpoints, eligibility criteria, and statistical considerations in collaboration with Biostatistics.
• Oversee delivery of CRCs, ISRs, and MASTs from concept ideation to governance and lifecycle support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure cohesive planning and execution across geographies and therapeutic areas.
