Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Director, Medical Evidence Generation (MEG) Clinical Trial Physician to lead medical oversight for the Cell Therapy portfolio. The role requires MD-level expertise, strong leadership, and collaboration with Worldwide Medical and CT MEG teams to advance evidence generation for MA-related studies.

Qualifications

• This role requires an MD (or equivalent) with 2–3 years of clinical trial experience in pharma or academic settings.
• Experience leading medical affairs-led studies and/or cell therapy development is highly desirable.
• Ability to lead in a complex, matrix environment with external investigators.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical/clinical accountability for interventional and non-interventional studies in MEG.
• Collaborate on protocol development and ICF with key stakeholders across Medical and Clinical teams.
• Support study execution, including database development, data oversight, site activation, and enrollment status.
• Oversee safety narratives and assess key safety-related adverse events with Worldwide Patient Safety.
• Perform medical data review, eligibility assessment, and interpretation of results.
• Oversee external partners (CROs) on medical monitoring activities.
• Provide continuous medical education related to protocol-specific training.
• Represent MEG in Study Steering Committees and Investigator Meetings; liaise with external stakeholders.
• Foster collaboration across Medical to ensure a unified MEG voice for cell therapy assets.
• Maintain GCP compliance and required training; manage resources to deliver value.
