Job summary

Endeavor Health in Glenview, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Medical Surgical Telemetry unit at Glenbrook Hospital. This is a full-time day shift (7am–7:30pm) with rotating weekends, 36 hours per week.

You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care, use the nursing process to plan and evaluate care, lead unlicensed staff, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and experience.

Qualifications

• Current IL nursing licensure is required.
• Graduation from an NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers required.
• Nursing experience preferred; CNA experience acceptable for new grads.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for units on a specified patient population.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experience.
