Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager in the San Francisco area to lead strategic planning for top accounts and drive adoption of CV portfolio within complex health systems.

You will work with field teams and medical science liaisons to engage cardiology, lipidology, and pharmacy leaders, building durable relationships and delivering compliant, data-driven strategies for sustainable portfolio utilization.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master/ Bachelor with required years of sales/account management experience.
• Internal cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement, and policy context.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts, developing tailored plans to drive CV product utilization.
• Build and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular strategy and market needs.
• Engage hospital leaders (Cardiology, Lipidology, Pharmacy, P&T) to secure alignment and approvals.
• Coordinate pull-through initiatives with matrix teams and field sales to optimize access.
• Represent compliant data/messages and support hospital initiatives across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
