Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Therapeutic Area Specialist for Cardiovascular in San Diego, field-based, engaging Health Care Providers with scientific dialogue and tailored product messaging. You will build credibility and drive adoption across the portfolio in collaboration with regional teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech healthcare sales experience.
• Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data clearly to physicians.
• Demonstrated credibility with customers, staff and stakeholders in a customer-centric mindset.
• Experience in cardiovascular field is preferred.
• Strong account management, selling competencies and track record of meeting goals.
• Able to work cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Promotes approved indications to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
• Articulates clinical and scientific rationale to drive demand for products.
• Maintains high level of scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
• Prepares and implements territory and account plans.
• Uses tools like CE^3 to inform call plans and derive insights.
• Provides feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.
