Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Therapeutic Area Specialist in Cardiovascular to drive demand for medicines and engage healthcare providers with scientifically grounded dialogue. This field-based role emphasizes adherence to labeling and compliant practices, building credibility across regional thought leaders and private-practice HCPs.

The TAS collaborates with multiple functions to deliver a superior customer experience while prioritizing patient safety and optimal product use.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
• Ability to communicate scientific data accurately to physicians.
• Demonstrated credibility with customers and stakeholders.
• Experience in cardiovascular therapeutic area preferred.
• Proven account management, selling competencies, and meeting/exceeding goals.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Promotes approved indications within a defined territory to meet or exceed targets.
• Articulates clinical rationale for product use to HCPs.
• Organizes speakers programs and manages scheduling/logistics.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge on emerging data for approved indications.
• Uses CE^3 to generate insights and informs call planning.
• Collaborates with field teams to optimize customer experience.
