Qualifications

• High school diploma required; AAPC CIRCC certification within 18 months of hire.
• Three years of advanced medical and surgical coding experience preferred or credentialed Heart and Vascular Technologist or cardiovascular nurse.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, codes, and analyzes medical records for cardiovascular and interventional procedures.
• Assigns CPT/APC billing codes to Medicare, Medicaid, and other payors.
