Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Cardiovascular Medical Surgical Telemetry in Glenview, IL. This full-time nights position involves 40 hours per week with rotating weekends at Glenbrook Hospital.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, participate in direct patient care when needed, and lead a team to ensure safe, high-quality care and smooth discharge planning. Relevant nursing licenses and CPR/BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current IL nursing license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in appropriate clinical setting; prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
• Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput.
• Would assume direct patient care if necessary.
• Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s).
• Guide and direct a team of care-givers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge.
• Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills.
• Takes lead on clinical performance management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing
