Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Cardiovascular Medical Surgical Telemetry at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL. This full-time night/evening shift offers a 40-hour week and rotating weekends.

Requires IL RN licensure, Bachelor's in Nursing (Master's preferred), BLS/CPR, and a minimum of 3 years' clinical experience with leadership potential. Competitive hourly pay range and benefits accompany this role.

Current professional Nursing Licensure in IL required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred.
BLS/CPR certification required.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in appropriate clinical setting required; Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput.
Would assume direct patient care if necessary.
Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s).
Guide and direct a team of care‑givers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge.
Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills.
Takes lead on clinical performance management.
