Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Cardiovascular Medical-Surgical Telemetry at Glenbrook Hospital in Illinois. This full-time night/evening rotating role offers 40 hours with rotating weekends.

The position requires IL nursing licensure, a BSN (MSN preferred), BLS/CPR, and a minimum of 3 years in a clinical setting with leadership experience preferred. Apply to contribute to safe patient care and efficient unit operations.

Qualifications

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in appropriate clinical setting required; Prior management experience preferred
• Skills: N/A

Responsibilities

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
• Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput
• Would assume direct patient care if necessary
• Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s)
• Guide and direct a team of care-givers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge
• Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills
• Takes lead on clinical performance management
