Job summary

Required qualifications include an associate degree or 6 months to 1 year of related experience, BLS on hire, and ACLS within 12 months. Expect a full-time 40-hour schedule with 10-hour shifts and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, procedures, regulations; write reports and communicate with managers and clients.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Compute figures, percentages, volumes; apply algebra and geometry concepts.
• REASONING ABILITY: Solve practical problems; interpret various instructions.

Responsibilities

• Locate and update patient histories; label charts with iodine allergy information.
• Prepare and maintain equipment; inspect catheters and supplies for expiry; stock materials as needed.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and schedule procedures in the lab.
• Assist physicians with catheter insertions, injections, angiography, stent procedures, and pacemaker insertions.
• Record data accurately, calculate ejection fractions and cardiac outputs.
• Maintain cath lab network systems and PACS; support cardioversions and lab operations.
