Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Invasive CV Technologist to support our cardiovascular lab. You will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, manage patient data, and ensure equipment readiness in a fast-paced cath lab environment.

The role requires an associate degree (or related experience), BLS at hire, and ACLS within 12 months. Expect 10-hour shifts, 40 hours weekly, at St James Hospital in Butte, MT, with on-call duties and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 6 months to 1 year related experience or training.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional information.
• Ability to calculate figures and apply basic algebra/geometry.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret varied instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with catheter insertions and injections during diagnostic angiography and heart caths.
• Maintain and label patient charts, update files and verify iodine allergy data.
• Clean equipment, inspect supplies and stock as needed.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and schedule procedures in the lab.
• Record data accurately, calculate ejection fractions and cardiac outputs.
• Monitor hemodynamic data and maintain cath lab network systems.
