Job summary

Intermountain Health's St James Hospital in Butte, MT seeks an Invasive CV Technologist to assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, building accurate hemodynamic data and supporting patient care. This full-time role requires an Associate's degree, BLS on hire with ACLS within 12 months, and strong documentation and teamwork abilities.

Typical shifts are 10 hours, with 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school, or related experience.
• BLS required upon hire; ACLS within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and regulations.
• Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedures.
• Math skills: proportions, percentages, geometry; basic algebra.
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Locate historical information and update patient files after procedures.
• Clean equipment and maintain supplies.
• Inspect catheters and guide wires for expiration and stock as needed.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines.
• Assist physician with catheter insertions and related procedures.
• Record data accurately and calculate cardiac metrics.
• Maintain cath lab network computers and PACS.
• Assist during cardioversions in the cath lab.
