Job summary

AMNHealthcare is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens coverage in Spokane, Washington. The role supports robotic and open cardiac procedures, with a day schedule 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on-call nights and weekends.

Credentialing typically takes 60–90 days, and Epic is the EMR system used. The candidate must hold a Washington license or IMLC and be prepared to facilitate a high-volume surgical service while coordinating care with the cardiovascular surgery

Qualifications

• Active Washington license or IMLC.
• Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days.
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic PA support, including robotic lobectomy, thymectomy, CABG, and valve procedures.
• Cover day schedule 7:00 AM–5:00 PM with night on-call 5:00 PM–7:00 AM and weekend call.
• Collaborate with surgical team to support complex thoracic procedures.

This facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Schedule: Day schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Night call: 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Weekend call: Robotic Lobectomy and Thymectomy using the Davinci Xi Robot, Coronary, Artery Bypass Grafting, Aortic Valve Replacement

Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days; Electronic Medical Record(EMR): Epic

Must have an active Washington license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
