Job summary

AMN Healthcare Physician Solutions seeks a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens coverage in Pennsylvania. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with an on-call ratio of 1:4; Friday 5 p.m.

to Monday 7 a.m. Outpatient setting handling EVH and vascular cases, with 60+ day credentialing timeframe. Requirements include PA licensure in PA, BLS, ACLS, and DEA; EPIC EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in Pennsylvania.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• DEA registration required.
• Experience in cardiothoracic surgery preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic surgical PA coverage in outpatient setting.
• Assist with surgical closures, vascular and EVH cases.
• Collaborate with surgical team during procedures.
• Navigate credentialing process and meet 60+ day timelines.

This facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details And Requirements For This Opportunity

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-4:30p + 1:4 call ratio; Friday 5p - Monday 7a
• Practice Setting: Outpatient
• Types of Cases: Surgical Closure, Vascular and Endoscopic Vessel Harvesting (EVH) cases
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60+ days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Certifications Required: Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certifications; Must have a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA)
• Licensure Required: Must have a Pennsylvania license
