Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens support in an outpatient environment. Start date ASAP with a schedule of 8 shifts and an on‑call rotation. EMR used: EPIC. Credentialing typically takes 60+ days.

Required credentials include PA licensure in Pennsylvania, BLS, ACLS, and DEA registration. This role offers competitive pay and travel/lodging coordination through AMN.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic surgery PA support in outpatient setting.
• Assist with surgical closures, vascular and EVH cases.
• Adhere to schedule: Mon–Fri 7:00–4:30 with 1:4 on‑call ratio; Fri 5:00 p.m. – Mon 7:00 a.m.

This facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-4:30p + 1:4 call ratio; Friday 5p - Monday 7a
• Practice Setting: Outpatient
• Types of Cases: Surgical Closure, Vascular and Endoscopic Vessel Harvesting (EVH) cases
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60+ days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Certifications Required: Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certifications; Must have a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA)
• Licensure Required:Must have a Pennsylvania license
