Job summary

Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute in Concord, NC, is seeking an Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join a busy team. The role involves caring for cardiac and thoracic surgery patients in the inpatient setting with a rotating 4‑day 10‑hour shift schedule and limited weekend coverage.

Applicants must be a licensed NP or PA in NC with prescriptive privileges and a DEA license, and hold BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited NP or PA program and licensed to practice in NC.
• Current prescriptive privileges and a DEA license are required.
• BLS/ACLS certification is required.
• NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants or Acute Care NP Certification for NPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to both cardiac and thoracic surgery patients.
• Work in the inpatient setting on a rotating four, 10‑hour shift schedule with rotating weekends.
• No OR responsibilities and no call; travel may be required to other sites.
