Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a full-time, days position in the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center area. You will work in a dynamic academic learning healthcare system within the Operating Room - Cardiothoracic Service Line, supporting the RN and ensuring sterile technique.

Responsibilities include preparing ORs, handling instruments, and upholding patient safety. A sign-on bonus of $7,500 is offered for eligible candidates, with comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program.
• BCLS certification.
• Preferred specialty area certification.

Responsibilities

• Support direct patient care alongside the Registered Nurse.
• Prepare the Operating Room pre- and post-surgery.
• Arrange sterile instruments and maintain aseptic techniques.
• Demonstrate cost-containment practices and effective teamwork.
