Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is hiring a Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist for the Cardiac Operating Room. You will prep the OR, pass instruments, and support the surgical team during open-heart and related procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NBSTSA certification and Surgical Technologist licensure required if state license is required; otherwise NBSTSA certification.
• Certified Surgical Technologist designation preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year of cardio- or thoracic-surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiovascular surgeons during open-heart, vascular, and thoracic procedures.
• Prepare operating room and organize instruments and supplies for sterile technique.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and provide intraoperative support to optimize outcomes.
