Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist (full-time, days) at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina. You will work in the Operating Room - Cardiothoracic Service Line, supporting the RN, preparing the OR, and maintaining aseptic techniques.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program.
• BCLS certification required.
• Preferred: certification in specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Operating Room pre- and post-surgery and arrange sterile instruments.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist RN during procedures.
• Support direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Demonstrate effective communication with OR team and patients.
• Contribute to cost containment and inventory management.
