Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team. The RN will coordinate the nursing process across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings with collaboration from physicians, ensuring care aligns with the medical plan.

The role emphasizes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, plus patient education and participation in performance improvement activities. Licensure in NJ and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey or multi-state license.
• American Heart Association BLS required on hire or transfer.
• Experience with clinical applications is preferred; training provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Oversee and document the nursing care plan across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide education to patients and families and participate in performance improvement activities.
