Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking an Registered Nurse to join a collaborative interdisciplinary team. The RN will implement the nursing process, coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings, and ensure documentation aligns with the medical plan.

Responsibilities include patient and family education, coordination of the care plan, and participation in performance improvement initiatives. NJ RN licensure and BLS are required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with RN licensure in NJ.
• BSN preferred; current AHA BLS required on hire.
• Proficiency with clinical applications and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to provide care.
• Apply the nursing process across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
• Coordinate and document the plan of care in accordance with medical treatment.
• Lead and support patient/family education and empowerment.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and quality initiatives.
