Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Cardiovascular Metabolic in Fresno/Central Valley, CA. The field-based role engages with cardiometabolic thought leaders and healthcare decision-makers to communicate data and advance Amgen's scientific platform.

You will educate payers, providers, and key partners on clinical value and economic data, support formulary discussions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement local plans and educational activities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in a relevant field or MD/PhD equivalent.
• Masters with 3 years Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor's with 5 years Medical Affairs experience.

Responsabilités

• Interact with cardiometabolic opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers to communicate and advance the scientific platform.
• Educate and communicate clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to payers, providers, and key partners.
• Provide in-depth clinical and economic support to payers, IDNs, and formulary committees; share insights with internal teams.
• Lead and participate on project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics.
• Lead and support congress activities in accordance with strategy; may serve as congress lead.
• Maintain clinical savvy and ensure timely completion of training; may mentor new hires or international MSLs.
• Advance MSL value proposition and demonstrate Amgen values and leadership attributes.

Formation

Doctorate degree

Masters degree + 3 years Medical Affairs experience

Bachelors degree + 5 years Medical Affairs experience
